Receiving Faxes from a Fax Machine to Email
As a business professional, you like to stay on top of technological updates that can facilitate your entire business process. You have heard of one of the newest innovations that is taking the business and professional world by storm, namely online faxing.
After taking the time to do your research, and comparing a variety of features offered through online fax providers, you have decided that it is not right for you. You already have a fax machine hooked up and ready to go, what’s the point in changing to an entirely new system that doesn’t even meet all of your needs? For this reason, you opt against online faxing.
But not everybody has made the same decision. A number of your business associates and clients have made the switch, and are now sending and receiving all of their faxes online. So what does that mean for you? Can you still send them a fax as you normally would have?
Fortunately, the answer is yes, you can. When you are sending a fax to someone online, the process is the same as normal. You type the recipient’s number into your fax machine, and the fax that you sent shows up in their email inbox rather than a traditional fax machine. For those of us who cannot, or do not want to make the switch to sending a fax online, this is great news. Any colleagues or associates who opt for online faxing can continue to receive your faxes as normal, only they get it through their computer!
